The basics

Why have a website?

Most guests search online before they book. A website means you show up when they're ready, and every booking through it is yours to keep.

Guests find you online

Most bookings start with a search. Your site shows up when people are ready to book, day or night.

Keep every booking

No commission taken on bookings made through your own site. Just standard card fees.

Stay organised

Less back-and-forth arranging things with guests. Log a new booking in seconds and always know who's coming and when.

Hosting & add-ons

I keep hosting as low as I can. There isn't a more affordable, fully-managed option out there for what's included.

Every plan includes, from £10/month

Secure hosting, your own domain name, an SSL certificate through Cloudflare, daily backups and analytics. All wrapped into one monthly fee, no contract.

Optional add-ons

Add-on Setup Per month
Payment capability (Stripe)£40+£5
Full booking database & management tool£80+£10

Payment capability takes card payments securely through Stripe — the £5/month covers integration and support, and Stripe's own processing fees are separate and paid directly to them. The full booking tool gives you a searchable database of every booking, with calendar, list and spreadsheet views.

Database & management tool

Every booking pulled into one place, tailored to your needs. Synced from your own site, Airbnb, Pitchup and other platforms, and checked against existing bookings so nothing's double-booked. Browse it as a calendar, a list or a spreadsheet. Enhanced includes it as standard.

Content, photography & social media

Want the words written for you too? SEO-focused content for every page, in your tone of voice. A one-off cost, from £60 depending on location and content needed.

Photography and social media management are also available, priced individually depending on your business.

Already on Pitchup?

Why your own site pays for itself

Pitchup is one of the UK's biggest campsite and caravan park booking marketplaces. Most site owners already list on it, and it takes a cut of every booking made there. Here's an example: a 5-pitch site, half full every night of the season (214 nights), earning about £13,375 a year at £25/night. In year one, a third of bookings move to your own site, and the rest still come through Pitchup.

Basis Year 1 Year 2+
Blended cost with your own site £1,692.17 £1,542.17
↳ of which, still Pitchup's 15% commission (on the two-thirds of bookings still made there) £1,337.50 £1,337.50
Cost if everything stayed on Pitchup £2,006.25 £2,006.25

Two-thirds of bookings — about £8,916.67 a year — stay on Pitchup in this example, so £1,337.50 of the blended figure above is still their 15% commission, not a cost from me. The rest — £354.67 in year one, £204.67 after — covers your build fee, hosting, add-ons and Stripe's own card processing fees on the third of bookings taken through your own site. Those go straight to Stripe, not to me.

How I compare to HolidayFox

HolidayFox's "Website in a Box" bundles a template website with its own booking system built in, a popular all-in-one route. Same booking numbers as above.

Route Year 1 Year 2+
Your own site (Ridings Digital) £704.23 £554.23
HolidayFox "Website in a Box" £1,078.86 £1,078.86

Figures for your own site include the full booking database & management tool add-on, so it's compared like-for-like on features.

How I compare to GemaPark

GemaPark is a booking and park management system you add to a site you already have, rather than a full website. Worth knowing about if it's really just the booking side you need sorted.

Route Year 1 Year 2+
Your own site (Ridings Digital) £704.23 £554.23
GemaPark booking system From £780 + setup From £780

GemaPark is quote-based (historically from around £65 a month, plus setup) and only adds booking to an existing site rather than a full website, so it's not quite like-for-like.

Just want the booking and management side, without a full new website? That's what the database & management tool add-on above does, for a fraction of GemaPark's monthly cost.

£226

Saved every year once both are up and running, against GemaPark's typical £65 a month

How long does it take to build?

I aim to get sites live within 2 weeks of starting, normally quicker. You'll get a clear timeline after we've talked through what you need.
